As you progress in Palworld, you are bound to leave behind your old gear once you find new items and weapons worth using. While new items and shiny gear is something that any player would want, it leaves behind the doubt about what to do with the Old Gear in Palworld. If you have been playing the game for long, it’s easy to figure out the answer to this.
While players have the option to sell items, they won’t really get much if the gear is damaged. Although you can arguably repair weapons, they still won’t fetch much if the old gear is low tier. Players have been divided between discarding the items or selling them and here’s our two cents on what can be done.
Should You Discard or Sell Old Gear in Palworld?
While discarding your old gear is probably a better choice, it does not really reward you much. However, it’s better than hauling your inventory to the Vendor and selling them. Selling your old gear in Palworld does not really provide you with a lot of resources and you have to go to the vendor to do so.
We chose to simply select the item in the inventory and discard it in the base. It will automatically despawn and since you don’t really get much for them, it’s not a loss.
If you are interested in getting some coins though, you can look for a vendor and try to sell them. Since the old gear actually won’t come in handy later on, you can sell them and make some coins instead.
That’s all we have from this guide. Palworld is best enjoyed in a multiplayer with friends if you have a party of 4 or by creating a dedicated server for more. You can check out more of our Palworld coverage in our dedicated section here at Gamer Tweak.
