Ranking means grinding, the more you play the more XP will be added to your account. There are over 55 Ranks in COD MW2. Every rank will unlock a reward. It can be a weapon, an attachment, or some kit. When you play matches, daily challenges, and milestone challenges you will earn XP in COD MW2. But it is not simple as it sounds, Ranking after a specific level like after Level 15 requires more power. In this article, I tried to cover everything about ranking in COD Modern Warfare 2.
COD MW2 XP Farming Guide
Currently, there are four ways to farm XP in Modern Warfare 2. They are linked with daily challenges, and some of them have an event that can reward you with higher XP. Users who had pre-ordered the game are eligible for a Double XP bonus. These rewards are available as Campaign Rewards during the Early Access of the game. For others here is the list of things you can do to farm XP in MW2.
- Daily Challenges – Earn a lot of XP in 24 Hours.
- Career Challenges – Earn XP’s after completing milestones. Also earn calling cards and cosmetic rewards.
How To Farm XP in Daily Challenges?
Daily Challenges is available in Multiplayer and in Speciali Ops. There are four challenges that will reset automatically. In Multiplayer there are three different daily challenges. For example, get 5 headshots with an SMG or Sniper, or get 2 kills using Dead Silence, etc. If you are able to complete all three Multiplayer Daily Challenges a fourth bonus challenge will be unlocked. This Bonus Challenge is divided into two objectives and if win this you will earn bonus XP.
Special Ops Challenges also has three Daily plus one Bonus Challenge. But the execution of these challenges is different. It can be completed on any mission. The second and third challenges under Special Ops can be cooperative-specific or generic tasks. First, two will reward only XP and the third and bonus challenge will bring additional rewards with XP. So playing Daily Challenges is a way to farm a load of XP and reach Level 55 in COD Modern Warfare 2. If you want to rank up fast then focus more on playing Speciali Ops challenges.
How to Farm XP in Career Challenges?
This one is tougher, here your Kill count matters, also your loadout plays a role in earning XP. There can be many milestones in one challenge, so a lot of playing is required. But if you are able to complete this you will earn XP with a Calling Card. Career Challenges also brings in special rewards under Intel Collections objectives. For this, you will have to follow up with MW2 Season 01 challenges. The objectives will be difficult here but worth trying out.
