If you are a great fan of Golf then here is great news for you. In Sons of the Forest, there is a Putter available for you to equip. Moreover, you can use it to play a game of Golf in the woods. In addition, it also serves as a great weapon to defend ourselves against the maneaters. Besides other melee weapons like a Guitar or Shovel, having a Putter in the Inventory seems fascinating as well. However, like most of the other items, it is not readily available to you as well. So, what can you do to get your hands on this Gold Club? Here’s everything you should know about it.

Sons of the Forest Putter Location
In this game, you can find the Putter at 2 different locations on the map. Here are they:
Putter Location #1
The very first location where you can find a Putter in Sons of the Forest is actually a Golf Course. It is located on the northeast part of the map. For your reference, we have marked the image that location in the image above. Once you reach there, you will see a Golf Cart. The Putter is found on the ground next to that Golf Cart.
Putter Location #2
Further, the second location is not an open field but an underground Maintenance Bunker. It can be found on the southeast side of the map. We have marked the image of the Bunker in the image above. Before heading to this location, make sure you have a Maintenance Keycard with you. If you don’t have any, then here is a guide where we have mentioned the location of the Maintenance Keycard.
Moving ahead, here are the directions where you can find the Putter in Sons of the Forest:
- Enter the cave by passing through the gap between the thin walls.
- Walk your way inside and jump into the hole underground.
- Move down the stairs and use the Maintenance Card to unlock the door on the right.
- Take the stairs on the right to go down to the next level underneath.
- Open the yellow door on the left and kill the creature inside.
- From there, use the door at the end to take an exit.
- Skip the room next to it and enter the second one.
- Now, enter the second door, which is already opened, and enter a living area.
- Therein, you will find the Putter on the sofa set shoved in a corpse.
- Interact with it and finally get the Putter in Sons of the Forest.
How to Get the Golf Balls in Sons of the Forest
Now that you have the Putter, all you need is a Golf Ball in Sons of the Forest. Golf Balls are usually found scattered across the Golf Course. You can collect it and keep it in your Inventory. In the image below, we have marked the locations where you can find the Golf Balls in Sons of the Forest:
To use a Putter, place the Golf Ball on the ground and equip the Putter. After that, look down at the Golf Ball and swing it to hit the Golf Ball far away. Apart from this, a Putter can also be used as a Melee weapon. Although, it does not have a good damaging stats and hence it is the weakest among most of the other weapons.
