Your journey in PEAK is going to be packed with dangers and even a little slip-up can cause you to fall down the mountain. In this game, players can fall into two critical conditions: Unconscious or Dead and knowing how to assist teammates in either state can make the difference between success and failure. Here’s what you need to know to ensure their survival.
How to Revive Unconscious Teammates in Peak
When a friend is knocked unconscious (indicated by swirling eyes), their “death meter” begins to drop. If untreated, they’ll slip into death. Here’s how to save them:
- Locate the downed player: Note where they fell and identify the cause: was it physical damage, poison, hunger, or exhaustion? Your suitcase items will come in handy for this purpose.
- Treat the cause accordingly: Give them Bandages or a Medkit work for physical injury or poison. Food items such as trail mix or sports drink for hunger or stamina exhaustion. If a medkit isn’t working, try feeding them food.
- Stabilize by carrying: If safe, lift them onto your back. This pauses the death meter for a bit, allowing extra time to treat or move them to safety. Keep an eye on your own stamina and overall Affliction bar because if it’s too low, then you will die too.
Helping them in time prevents their status from worsening, preserving both energy and resources.
How to Revive Dead Teammates in Peak
If the death meter expires, the player becomes a skeleton and can spectate as a ghost. They can still communicate, but action is from the sidelines. To bring them back:
- Scout Effigy: A rare item found in luggage. Revives one dead teammate.
- Ancient Statue: Located at the end of each biome; activates to revive all fallen teammates at once.
- Once revived, players suffer a revival debuff (shown on the energy bar with a swirl icon) that must be removed using a Cure-All item, which is most commonly found in Ancient Luggage that appears at random. Note that opening this type of Luggage can damage your HP a little, so open it only when you have a sufficient amount. The Pandora’s Lunchbox item also clears all existing status effects and will help with the revival debuff.
