If you are getting Server Communication Error and your player character is missing all of the gears you’ve earned by playing for hours, don’t worry for now about reporting this inventory wipe. It is a major issue talked about in the community right now, and the Devs are aware of it. The developers are working on it already working on this serious problem as so many players are affected right now. Unfortunately, there is no workaround that players do from their side to fix this glitch.
We can hope it to be resolved just like the inventory gear wipe issue many players facing during the last few weeks. But this issue was resolved by devs by restoring all the lost items. We can expect the same for the players suffering from the current issue.
Also, these players who suffered inventory gear wipe glitch are also eligible for the “Appreciation Package“. We hope that People Can Fly notices our problems and offers some kind of incentive or reward for our patience for not able to play the game until the problem is resolved.
The issue will hit you with more probability if your game crashes while having a crossplay or during normal co-op gameplay. The character which you used will be hit with this glitch mainly. For some players, it may affect all of their characters. This glitch may happen in both the main campaign and in the Expeditions.
