Grow Lights are essential for maximizing crop yield in Once Human, especially in areas with limited sunlight, during cloudy weather or nighttime. If you’re not sure how to get and effectively use them for farming, this guide will explain all the basics you need to know to get started.
How to Get Grow Lights in Once Human
To unlock Grow Lights, you’ll need to progress through the Memetics system. Specifically, you’ll find Grow Lights under the Logistics section, in the 4th tier.
The Prerequisites are:
- Unlock Memetics: Fertilizers 1
- Have 7 Ciphers
- Have 2000 Energy Links
Once you’ve unlocked the blueprint, you can build it via Facilities > Functional > Agricultural. The materials you need are 15x Glass (crafted in the Furnace), Special Parts, Electronic Parts and Metal Scraps, all of which can be obtained via the Disassembly Bench.
Once these requirements are met, you can set up Grow Lights and start improving your crop production. Make sure they are placed two stories higher so that at least 8 planter boxes benefit from the light.
Combining Grow Lights with an automated irrigation system with the boxes around it can significantly increase produce.
