How To Complete Ominous Portent Challenge In OW2 (Witness Banshee Moments)

Published Date :

Witness all 7 Banshee moments in a single run of Wrath of the Bride in the Ominous Portent Challenge in Overwatch 2. While we know that Moira is the Banshee in this case, many are curious to find out what does this specific challenge mean? Well, for this, you need teamwork. Here’s a guide that will help you complete the objective and obtain the Tarot Reading voice line by Kiriko.

How to Complete the Ominous Portent Challenge in Overwatch 2

Witness Banshee moments in a single run

During Wrath of the Bride, you will be tasked with finding a key to get to the Castle. You will spot the key in the area but don’t pick it up. The goal is to witness all 7 Banshee moments – meaning you should see the Banshee seven times without picking the key. When you see her move 7 times in one run, this challenge gets completed.

This can be annoying to finish if your teammates are not in sync with your intentions to complete the challenge, so make sure that they are. If you have turned off chat, head back into settings and enable it again just for this challenge. The best way to do it is to find players who want to do the challenge via social media, ask your team members via chat, or do it with your friends.

A good way to make her show up 7 times and witness it is to keep moving around the area. You may see her rushing behind the Gate, jumping on rooftops, and basically doing various ghostly activities. Spotting her is easy due to her purple-white glow. The best part is that if any team member sees her, it counts as one for you as well. Keep moving around until you see her 6 times and then head to the key. After you pick it up, she will appear as a jumpscare (be ready) and it counts as the 7th sighting.

That’s everything about completing the Ominous Portent challenge where you need to witness all Banshee moments in a single run. If you are also trying to complete more challenges, here’s how to do the Lantern Lit task for free Battle Pass XP. To complete these event challenges, it’s best to do them in story mode which is the easiest, but if you are planning to tackle the Legendary mode too, these tips may come in handy.
