Overwatch 2’s Halloween Terror event brings you the Wrath of the Bride (Junkenstein’s Revenge) and one of the challenges is called Lantern Lit where you must crouch at the lantern for 6 seconds while the Ghost is active. The whole mission can be pretty chaotic, especially on higher difficulties, so you may not realize how and where you are supposed to do the task. Here’s a guide that will help you out. Doing this will earn you 1000 Battle Pass XP so let’s get right into it.
How to Complete Overwatch 2 Lantern Lit Challenge
- Play the co-op mission until you encounter the Unstoppable Ghost, Sigma. Don’t try to attack him because it will make no difference. You must evade him and his surrounding orb which deals great damage and can kill you.
- As soon as he first appears and his name shows up on the screen, be ready and dodge him and move into the passageway ahead of you (from where he appeared).
- Take a left and there will be a Zomnic in the room you must kill first. On the left side, you will see an unlit lantern – crouch at it for 6 seconds (make sure you check the crouch button beforehand). Do this when Sigma is chasing someone else and if he comes towards you, get away from him and come back to the lantern again.
- Once you complete the objective, you will see a notification on the left side of the screen.
