Krypt chests in Mortal Kombat 11 can be found in multiples, they contain loot and can be opened using the three type of currencies in the game, koin, soul, and heart. Each chest will give you a minimum of one cosmetic, crafting or key item. Make sure you open as many chests as you can in the game which further advances your chances of getting something really useful in the game. This guide will show you the location of Krypt chests.

Where to find Krypt Chests Location?
There are three types of chests in the game, some only need koins to open them white other require soul fragments or hearts in order to open them.
Koin chests Location
Koin chests are those which only need koins to open, you will need to farm koins in order to open specific chests in Mortal Kombat 11. After you’re finished with opening all the chests you can interact with Kronika’s Time Vault to reset them and reopen them all over again. This is the fastest way to farm items for character customization and materials.
Soul Chests and Heart Chests Location
These two are additional chests in Mortal Kombat 11 which you can only open once, the soul’s chests require soul fragments in order to open them and you can gain soul fragments by winning matches in any mode you desire.
These soul chests are peculiar as they do not look like chests but rather are cylindrical in nature with a green orb glowing on them.
You can find most of these in the Dead Woods area, west to the main courtyard.
Heart chests also have a distinct look to them, and you can only open them using hearts.
There two main types of heart chests in Mortal Kombat 11, one with flaming skulls and the other with Shao Khan’s helmet on top of them.
To be able to open the chests with the burning skulls, you will first need to extinguish the fire which can be done by pulling a nearby lantern using Scorpion’s Spear and they each require about 100 hearts to open.
For the chests that have Shao Khan’s helmet on top of them, you will require about 250 hearts in order to open them.
You can farm hearts by performing fatalities or by pulling corpses with Scorpion’s spear in the krypt.
