You can find and get the Silver located in the Lower Deeps area in LOTR Return to Moria. It is connected through the Crystal Descent and also the upper levels (first starting area). But to reach this location, you need to repair the Crystal Causeway if you haven’t already. You can repair this route by spending 30 Natural Fibers and 15 Black Diamonds. Once you reach the Lower Deeps, you will find several minerals including Silver, Iron, Bronze, and more Ores. All you need to do is mine the Ihraz Granite before the mineral deposits to get Silver.

But that said, you cannot mine and get Silver using your Steel Pickaxe. Instead, you require crafting a First Age Pickaxe to mine them. So, here are the following prerequisites to craft this Pickaxe:

  • Steel Pickaxe
  • Steel Ingots
  • First Age Pickaxe Crafting Recipe
  • Repair The Great Forge of Narvi

Once you have completed these above-mentioned prerequisites, here are the following resources you require:

  • 3 Steel Ingots: Requires 3 Iron Ore and Coal by mining the respective deposits.
  • 4 Ubasam Wood: Looting from the Mushroom trees in the Lower Deeps.
  • 1 Black Diamond: Looting Orkish chests, defeating bosses, and killing enemies in Hordes.
  • 1 Gem Cutter: Requires 10 Ubasam wood, 10 Stone blocks, and 3 Steel Ingots.

You can use the fast-travel to search these resources quickly. After collecting all the above resources, you can use a Forge located in your Hearth’s area to craft this Pickaxe.
