Elden Ring is home to some of the most challenging enemies you can encounter. From the grotesque Godskin Noble to annoyances like Preceptor Miriam the game has it all. Elden Ring is also home to multiple smaller enemies that roam the Lands Between aimlessly. One such type of enemy that is a surprising irritation is Skeletons and here’s a quick guide on how to kill them in Elden Ring.
How to Kill Skeletons in Elden Ring
When you attack a Skeleton it seemingly drops dead in a pile of bones on the floor. A glowing light appears around the pile, and only now the Skeleton reanimates itself ready for the next attack you throw. No matter how many times you try to get rid of it, the Skeleton will keep reviving itself.
The solution to this is fairly simple
- Attack the Skeleton until it’s seemingly dead.
- Stand by while the bones start to glow.
- As soon as you see Skeleton’s head move upward, strike it down with your weapon of choice.
- You’ll know the Skeleton is truly dead if you receive Runes from the kill.
Skeletons are the enemy type that most new players will encounter in their first few hours into the game. They can be seen roaming the dungeons and beaches in Limgrave at the start. But the place where you’ll find the largest number of them will be in the Deathtouched and Wyndham Catacombs. If not dealt with quickly, they can group together in huge numbers to overwhelm the player. We thus recommend you rid of each of them in quick succession.
