In Dragon’s Dogma 2, one of the most crucial components will be your character’s health. While exploring, players will often encounter dangerous and powerful enemies, as a result, they will have to engage in battles and destroy their opponents. However, when you take hits during these fights, it will directly affect your HP. Therefore, it is necessary to learn how you can increase your character’s health in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Here’s everything you need to know to restore your HP.
How to Restore Health in Dragon’s Dogma 2
Resting in an Inn or Campsite
The best and most effective way to regenerate your health is by staying in an Inn or at a Campsite. Although the price to sleep at an Inn can be fairly expensive, it will be worth the amount, as you will be able to boost your maximum HP.
Leveling Up
Although this is not an ideal option, especially if you are trying to restore your Health during a battle, however, when your character’s level increases, it will automatically restore your health in DD2.
Use Healing Spells
The Mage Vocation will have access to several healing abilities, including spells, therefore, it is beneficial to include a Mage in your party. The Mage Pawn can use Anodyne, which is a core skill/ability that will create a restorative dome or aura around the caster, once you enter inside this dome, you will be able to boost your HP.
Make use of Consumable Healing Items
DD2 has a list of different health-resorting consumable items that will help you increase your HP. Some of them are – fish, dried meat, fruits, Roborants, Salubrious Draught. Additionally, one of the most effective consumable items you can use to increase your maximum health will be Allheal Elixir.
Understanding the Loss Gauge Mechanic in Dragon’s Dogma 2
The Lost Gauge is an in-game mechanic that affects your maximum health. However, this can be restored either by resting in an inn or campsite or by consuming the Allheal Elixir. Your character’s health can be tracked by keeping a check on the green line that appears towards the bottom of the screen.
During battles, when you take hits, the green line will slowly deplete and will start turning grey (maximum health), which means you will be able to heal only up to that point.
