After completing your first few runs, you should increase your Grasp in Hades 2. This is a system that lets you hold onto more Arcana Cards. These are important because they give you all sorts of perks like increasing health and magick, starting each night with some gold, turning minor finds into major finds, and more. That might raise the next question of what Arcana Cards are. Worry not; below is everything you need to know about them.
How to Get More Grasp Points in Hades 2
You need Psyche to upgrade your Grasp of the Arcana card, which will raise your Grasp in Hades 2. It is shown as a meter that indicates how many Arcana cards you can have active at once. You can check your Melione’s icon on the right side of the screen for it.
The more Grasp you have, the better. We will check about Arcana Cards in a bit, but for now, you can think of them as similar to what Talents did in the original game.
- In the Crossroads, go to your altar and Meditate.
- Select Melione’s image on the right, and the card will change to XVII Grasp of the Arcana.
- Spend Psyche to upgrade it. The first upgrade costs 40 Psyche and increases by 5 with each update.
- Every time you upgrade it you get +2 Grasp.
What are Arcana Cards?
Arcana cards are perks that you can activate by equipping them. Each card has Grasp points that it uses when you equip them. For example, The Wayward Son card requires 1 Grasp point to be equipped, and it restores 2 HP or twice if you have less than 30% HP left each time you exit a location. So if you have 10 Grasp points, you can make your build of Arcana cards like equipping cards I, II, VI, VII, and XII, which each require 1, 1, 2, 2, and 4 Grasp points, respectively.
That is all for how you can get more Grasp points in Hades 2. While you are here you might also want to check our guides on how to get Shadows, Bronze, Nectar, and Bones if you are on your way to collect resources.
