How to Get Shard of Time in Fisch
To create the Shard of Time, you must gather the following three items:
- Radiant Crystal
- Rough Geode
- Cut Gem
All three are found in The Chasm, specifically inside the Mineshaft area. Once you have them, you can use the pedestal located inside the Mineshaft to form the Shard of Time.
How to Get Each Item
Radiant Crystal
The Radiant Crystal is obtained through fishing inside the Mineshaft. It is a very rare catch, so expect to try multiple times. Using a strong rod or luck boosting effects (such as the Aurora totem) gives you a better chance of getting one. It inflicts a -60% progress speed decrease.
Rough Geode
The Rough Geode comes from breaking rubble inside the Mineshaft using a Flimsy Spear. Look for piles of rock or collapsed debris. Interacting with the rubble will usually break it apart and reward you with materials – one of the possible drops is the Rough Geode.
Cut Gem
To obtain the Cut Gem, find the minecart track inside the Mineshaft. There is a working cart that moves along the rails. Near the track, there is a diversion switch. Activate this switch as the cart approaches the diversion. Doing this causes the cart to crash. After the crash, you can loot the destroyed cart and collect the Cut Gem.
How to Form the Shard of Time
Once you have all three items, head deeper into the Mineshaft where you will find a stone pedestal. Interact with the pedestal and place the Radiant Crystal, Rough Geode and Cut Gem in their slots.
When all three items are placed, the pedestal activates and produces the Shard of Time. You can then pick it up and store it in your inventory.
What the Shard of Time is Used For
The Shard of Time is an essential ingredient for crafting Merlin’s Staff. This is one of the strongest rods in Fisch and provides high luck and other valuable bonuses. Without the Shard of Time, you cannot complete the crafting recipe for that rod.
