How to Change Race in The Forge

Published Date :

Rerolling is a crucial part of The Forge because the race you get determines your stats with its own pros and cons. You get 3 free spins at the beginning during the tutorial with Sensei Moro, but if you don’t get the race you wanted, you can still get more via codes. Here’s how to use them to reroll race easily and the % chances/odds for each.

How to Reroll Race in The Forge

To reroll race after the tutorial is over, you need to find a different NPC called the Wizard. To get to him, first find an NPC named Greedy Cey. He is located in this spot:

Right behind his shop, there’s a pathway that you need to follow. You’ll also see another NPC named Tomo the Explorist – this means you’re on the right path.

Keep going until you see a house and head inside. There will be a Wizard – press E to interact with him.

You can ask him a question about Races or choose the option “I want to change my race!” which will bring you to the same UI screen you saw when you talked to Sensei Moro previously.

If you have used all the free spins, you can also buy Rerolls from this screen.

The Forge Races Chances

Some races are much rarer than others. Here are the % chances/odds at the time of writing:

  • Human (25%)
  • Elf (15%)
  • Zombie (14%)
  • Goblin (10.5%)
  • Undead (9%)
  • Orc (8%)
  • Dwarf (7%)
  • Shadow (6%)
  • Minotaur (1.75%)
  • Dragonborn (1.5%)
  • Golem (1.25%)
  • Angel (0.5%)
  • Demon (0.5%)

The best races can be subjective based on what you want to play as, however, in general, Demon and Angel (the rarest ones under the Mythical category) are the strongest due to their traits and boosts. But if you haven’t received them, then the Legendary classes of Golem, Dragonborn, and Minotaur are good too. The default class of Human is the weakest, so it’s best to reroll for anything else.
