How to Use Dynamite in Dead Rails

Published Date :

Dynamite is an important item to have in Dead Rails because its explosive nature can not only help you against enemies but also help you get money. You can buy it from the General Store for $25 and if you’re wondering how exactly to use it, here’s a quick guide to help you.

To use a Dynamite, you also need a Torch which can be bought for $10 from the General store. It is a source of light during nighttime as well as a source of fire for your dynamite.

So, when you see a Bank you want to loot, one method to open the vault is to take down the zombie with the top hat and collect the code that drops from his body. Then, you must use the same code on the vault by turning the wheel and voila, you will have access to the valuable loot inside.

However, if you don’t want to go through this process, can’t find the Zombie with the top hat, or just want to blow things up quickly, you can use dynamite.

Drop the Dynamite from your inventory, and then drop the Torch as well. You should start hearing a hissing sound during which you must keep your distance, otherwise, you will take significant damage as well. After a few seconds, the dynamite will explode and the bank vault should be open.

Make sure you explore various buildings you come across because you may find Dynamite lying around there as well.

It appears that using a Dynamite at the Fort Supply door doesn’t work—you need to take down Captain Prescott and grab the key from him in order to access the loot there.
