If you’ve traveled 60km on your train in Dead Rails, you will come across the Fort Constitution area which is an army base. It will be packed with zombies, however, they are not unarmed—they are zombie soldiers and you need a certain strategy to take them down. Here’s everything you need to know about Fort Constitution as well as a special enemy called Captain Prescott.
What is Fort Constitution in Dead Rails?
Fort Constitution is an army base made of wooden logs that you can explore for an extra challenge with your team. When you approach the area, you will see zombie soldiers that have guns as well as swords so you should be equipped with good weapons yourself.
Make sure you and your friends have Rifles to take down the Zombie soldiers from afar. Plus, before starting this task, have Snake Oil and Bandages because you will end up taking damage.
Try not to start it when it’s about to be night because it will make the whole ordeal much tougher. Start when it’s a new morning so that you and your fellow players can focus on clearing Fort Constitution without worrying about nighttime. You might find Werewolves inside the Fort during day time as well.
The best weapons to have with you are the Bolt Action Rifle, Shotgun, Mauser C96, Navy Revolver, plenty of ammo, and even Cannons. Also, remember to tame a horse to bring along for this purpose.
Captain Prescott in Fort Constitution
Captain Prescott is an important enemy in this military base and he can be identified by his navy blue coat, hat, and mustache. When you kill this character, he will drop a vault key and it can be used to open a locked door that takes you to some loot.
Since it’s called the Supply Depot key, find the green building with Supply Depot written on it, and use it on the grey door. You may find Treasury Bonds, Ammo, Cannon and more in the room.
For some extra cash, you can bring the body to the Sheriff because you can make 150$ with it. Remember to check every building for some additional loot because you will find weapons and bandages which will be useful when some more zombie soldiers ambush your character.
