You can use Bandage, Snake Oil and Vampire Knife as healing items for your teammates. You can buy Bandage and Dr Rico’s Cure (Snake Oil) from the Doctor’s Shop or obtain it as a random drop from buildings.

The difference between Bandage and Snake Oil is that a Bandage will help recover a small amount of health, while the Oil will fully get you to max health along with a brief speed boost. Note that Snake Oil costs $35 and it can also be purchased from the starting town, if you have another player who can purchase the Coal required for the train.

The Vampire Knife cannot be purchased and can only found in the city, more specifically, it’s found in the Castle. It will be challenging but doable if you’re playing with a couple of your friends who will have your back. If you manage to get it from a coffin, you can not only use it as a melee weapon but also use it to regain your health because of its lifesteal ability. The Castle is also where you can find a jackpot of bandages, ammo and weapons.

Once one of your teammates dies, equip the Bandage or Snake Oil from your inventory, interact with the character’s body and use the button prompt on the player to heal and revive them in Dead Rails.

This was everything on how you can heal yourself and revive teammates in Dead Rails.
