While you start off with a basic melee weapon, taking down stronger enemies further ahead is going to be tough without good weapons. Thankfully, Dead Rails gives you the option to equip some good guns as well as better melee weapons. If you’re playing with friends, you can go for the Vampire Knife which also has a lifesteal ability that heals you when you deal damage. However, in terms of guns, the Revolver is the best to start with after which you can upgrade to other weapons when you’ve collected enough money. The Mauser C96 is also a great choice since it can be looted from buildings.
