How to Unlock Weapon Tree in Monster Hunter Rise (MHR)

You can unlock weapon trees by first getting the core material for the weapon category. There are 14 such types in MH Rise. So, if you want to get your hands on a particular category, you have to progress in the game and keep hunting more monsters. You can get the core material or monster parts from the relevant monsters. In short, you must beat Izuchi to get the material which will unlock Izuchi weapons via the Izuchi tree.

How to Unlock Weapon Tree in Monster Hunter Rise (MHR)

To upgrade or forge weapons, you have to talk to the Smithy and choose the option to Forge/Upgrade weapon. You will start off with basic starting weapons but as you continue playing and slaying monsters, they will become more expensive and stronger. Keep getting the upgrades in the weapon tree in MHR while keeping in mind that you will be able to roll back most of the weapons you make. Simply check out your weapon tree and go ahead with the roll back of a weapon with a yellow arrow on the node. You will get your materials back.

Also remember that you may have to fight the monster at a higher rank to unlock some weapon trees. Additionally, Armor trees also function in a similar manner. You have to slay the relevant monsters to get specific armor.
