Valheim is the new multiplayer, role-playing simulator game. The game is filled with various small activities that you can partake in. One such activity is the ability to tame and breed certain animals for your benefit. Boars and Wolves are two animals that can be tamed in the game and can be used for varying purposes. In this guide, we tell you all that you need to know about how to breed Wild Boars and get Piglets in Valheim.
Valheim Boar Breeding Guide
To breed animals, you have to tame them first and it requires some patience. We have already covered how to tame Boars in one of our previous guides but we will explain it in short again.
The easiest way to tame a boar is to go into the forest where the boars are grazing. Make sure to have a selection of food items they like, such as Mushrooms, Carrots, and Berries. Now go out to the pastures where the boars are and from a safe distance drop some food on the ground. Do not get too close as they will attack.
Once a boar eats the food you have dropped, yellow hearts will appear over its head meaning it is ready to be tamed. Go closer to the bear and interact with it by petting it. Pink hearts will appear over its head which means it has been tamed. Now lead the Boar back to your home and place it in a pen.
How To Get Piglets in Valheim
Now that you have your Boars in your pen keep feeding them with Mushrooms, Berries, and Carrots and that will help them get used to their new home. To breed little piglets you will need to have 2 boars in your pen. Occasionally keep feeding them food and gradually they will mate. After a while, you will see a tiny piggy in your pen.
