How to Stealth Kill Enemies in Starfield
Any character build can perform Stealth Kill by crouching and using suppressed weapons. But those who have unlocked the Stealth Skill Tree can check their ‘Hidden’ status. This helps to get behind cover before the Hidden bar depletes and you fall in danger. Now to Rank up this Skill to level 2, you’ll have to do 10 Stealth Kills. To do so, you need to target an enemy who’s not close to its backup. Make sure that you have a suppressed weapon with you. Once you find a target alone, crouch, get behind it, and fire multiple shots until the enemy is killed. This will maintain your hidden status and allow you to execute a Stealth Kill in Starfield.
If you are specifically looking to rank up the Stealth Skill, then killing creatures works too. There are planets where you can find space animals in abundance. You can crouch behind them to make them dead as well. As you level up this skill, your detection chances will reduce.

- Effect: Adds a Stealth Meter. You are 25% more difficult to detect when sneaking. Suppressed weapons do an additional 5% sneak attack damage.
- Rank Challenge: Spend Skill Points to Unlock

- Effect: Upgrades the Stealth Meter. You are 50% more difficult to detect when sneaking. Suppressed weapons do an additional 10% sneak attack damage.
- Rank Challenge: Perform 10 sneak attacks
- Rank 3
- Effect: You are 75% more difficult to detect when sneaking. Suppressed weapons do an additional 15% sneak attack damage.
- Rank Challenge: Perform 20 sneak attacks
- Rank 4
- Effect: You are 100% more difficult to detect when sneaking. Suppressed weapons do an additional 20% sneak attack damage. Doors you interact with while in stealth no longer alert enemies.
- Rank Challenge: Perform 40 sneak attacks
