Minecraft Dungeons has an online multiplayer mode where you can play with your friends having the same platform. Up to four players can play online as well as on local multiplayer which makes for an amazing dungeon crawling experience as a team. While playing, if any of your team members end up dying, you will need to revive them. Here’s how you can revive teammates in Minecraft Dungeons.
How To Revive Team Members in Minecraft Dungeons
Before getting to know how you can revive knocked out teammates, let’s take a look at what actually happens when anyone dies in the game.
What happens when a player dies?
Basically, death in this game will be revealed by the lack of color on the heart icon (your HP). When it drops to zero, that’s when you know you are dead. To see if your teammate has died in the game, check for a skull that will appear right above them. Reviving teammates can be useful if you want to survive for a longer period of time as a team. Why? Because in multiplayer mode, only when all players die, you lose a life as a team.
Note that when you are playing all alone, you cannot revive yourself. This works only in multiplayer. Now, to revive players in Minecraft Dungeons here’s what you need to do:
- Walk up to the fallen teammate
- The game will ask you if you want to revive them
- Press the button as per the prompt
- The revival process will start and it won’t be completed instantly
- You can ask your other teammates to handle any incoming enemies while you are resurrecting a teammate
Make sure to do it quickly before enemies engulf you and kill all team members. You also earn an achievement called Life of the Party for reviving a downed ally 20 times so that’s another plus.
