Getting Tungsten Ore in Once Human involves reaching a specific area and having the right tools. To get this valuable late game resource, players must venture out to Red Sands. Here are the map locations where you can farm this ore for your crafting needs.
Location where you can get Tungsten Ore in Once Human
Red Sands is the primary location for Tungsten Ore. It’s a high-level area (level 40+), so be prepared for tougher enemies.
The Pickaxe you need to mine Tungsten Ore is the Alloy Pickaxe. To craft it, unlock Aluminum Ingots and Alloy Pickaxes from Tier 4 of the Infrastructure tab in your Memetics menu. You require 7 Ciphers nad 2000 Energy Links for this. Then, craft the Alloy Pickaxe at an Intermediate Supplies Workbench.
Some more ways to get Tungsten Ore:
- Higher-Ranking Digby Boys (for higher-level players): These deviants can mine Tungsten from higher-level bases over time.
- Dracaena Trees (Red Sands desert): Chopping down these tall trees can provide some Tungsten Ore alongside lumber, but it’s not the most reliable method.
This ore looks similar to Aluminum and Tin Ore, so make sure to check for the slightly darker shade of Tungsten. The south end of Red Sands and the Iron River border are good spots to start searching for Tungsten deposits. Apart from this, you can check the southwestern and central area of Red Sands to have a chance of farming nodes.
Once you have enough, go to your Electric Furnace and convert Tungsten Ore to Ingots. If you haven’t built it yet, go to Memetics > Infrastructure and scroll to Electro-refining and unlock it. You can construct it with 35x Steel Ingots, 15x Copper Ingots, 5x Electronic Parts and 10x Standard Parts.
That’s what you can do to obtain Tungsten Ore in Once Human. Some more important late game resources are Special Parts and Special Plastics and we’ve got the locations where you can find them easily.
