In Fisch, the Celestial Rod is a late‑game, craftable fishing rod that balances high performance with a game‑changing passive ability. Its core stats make it one of the fastest and luckiest rods available, while its Celestial Surge buff (unlocked after 85 catches) grants extra Luck, ure Speed, and a mutation that doubles sale value and adds XP.
How to Get the Celestial Rod in Fisch
To obtain the Celestial Rod, you can craft it in the crafting station located in the Ancient Archives.
Crafting it demands Level 500, 100,000 C$, and lunar materials (3x Moonstone, 3x Moon Wood, 1x Ancient Thread) obtained through meteor events at Ancient Isle and fishing on Snowcap Island. You can get Ancient Thread by fishing anywhere in the First Sea and also through Treasure Chests.
Once assembled at the Archives crafting bench, the rod is yours. It’s best to use this rod for farming sessions, whether you’re collecting XP or money.
Here are the base stats at the time of writing:
- Lure Speed: 35%
- Luck: 60%
- Control: 0.07
- Resilience: 5%
- Max Weight: Infinite
After 85 successful catches, the Celestial Rod activates Celestial Surge for 5 minutes, granting:
- +50% Luck for higher rarity fish spawns
- +30% Lure Speed for fast bites
- Celestial Mutation: All catches earn 2x selling price and +30% XP
This makes it ideal for intense, short‑term farming, letting you hit milestones in both cash and XP. You can level up this rod’s power with enchantments such as Swift, Hasty, Mystical, Luck, Immortal, or Resilient. Since the base Resilience is low, you can focus on that stat first or go with an enchantment that provides an overall bonus.
That’s all for this one. If you’d like to know how to complete the various bestiaries of Second sea and also collect unique fishing rods like Azure of Lagoon, Blazebringer, Verdant Shear and Free Spirit Rod, check out our linked guides right here.
