One of the best things about Animal Crossing New Horizons is how it combines real world events with in-game ones. With the wedding-themed event in June, players are getting a chance to do something different while continuing their daily adventures in the game. Apart from this, though, there is one more celebration happening in the game – the Summer and Winter Solstice! Players can now grab two special summer and winter solstice items in ACNH. In this guide, we will show you the steps to get them.
How To Get ACNH Solstice Items
The summer solstice is basically the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. It falls around June 20 for those in the Northern Hemisphere and it also marks Winter Solstice for the Southern Hemisphere which is the shortest day.

What are the Solstice Items in Animal Crossing New Horizons?
Well, you have the Summer Solstice Crown and the Winter Solstice Sweater to grab during this period of June 7 to July 6, 2020. The crown is made of beautiful sunflowers and the tan sweater has a cute design on it. Check them out here.
To get these special solstice items, go to the Resident Services and walk up to the Nook Stop Terminal. Then do the following steps:
- Click on Nook Shopping
- Go to Special Goods
- Choose Seasonal Items
In that category, you will see that the summer solstice crown costs 1,560 Bells and the winter solstice sweater costs 1,200 Bells. Unfortunately, you will not be able to get it right at the moment of purchase. After buying them, you will get them in your mail the next day. Note that it doesn’t matter which hemisphere you are in, you can get your hands on both of these solstice items in ACNH.
