In June, it’s wedding season in Animal Crossing New Horizons. During this event, players will be able to visit Harvey’s island to celebrate love and holy matrimony. They can meet the cute married couple Reese and Cyrus and help them take their wedding pictures by setting the studio.

As a reward, players will receive some wedding-themed items. Since it is June in the real world and in Animal Crossing New Horizons, it’s time to get into the wedding season event. In this guide, we will show you how to get wedding items in ACNH through the June event as well as other wedding-related items that can be bought or crafted.
How to Get Wedding-Themed Items in ACNH
Let’s take a look at how the wedding season in ACNH will unfold. First, you must visit Harv’s island from the airport. Once you are there, you will see Harvey talking to Reese and Cyrus about something. When you interact with them, you will know that Harvey is looking for someone to arrange the wedding-picture set for this loved-up couple’s anniversary photos. As it turns out, you are the perfect fit for it! When you agree to prepare the studio for this couple, you will be taken to the studio (which is actually Harvey’s kitchen).
Here, you will be tasked with changing the decor and adding wedding-themed furniture, items and decorations. Your goal is to add at least 12 items in the room so that this Alpaca couple can have a beautiful setting for their pictures. On the very first day, you won’t have access to all wedding items. You will get them step by step since this season is going to last for the entire month of June. Check the Event tab to see what you have.

When you complete the task and make a gorgeous room for Reese and Cyrus to take a photo in, Reese will ask you to take their picture as well. When you do this, you will be rewarded with heart crystals and furniture. You can trade these heart crystals for more furniture from Cyrus.
The cap for heart crystals per day is possibly 15 but initially it will only be 11, so make sure to participate in this wedding event daily if you want to collect a lot of them. Reese absolutely loves to take wedding photos and she will request you to help her throughout this month since she has booked the studio for all of June.

Wedding outfits from Able Sisters’ shop
The Able Sisters’ Tailor Shop is a place where you can try on and buy new clothes, but it won’t be available as soon as you end up on your island. Unlocking the Able Sisters’ shop takes some work. This is how you can do it:
- Upgrade your house from a tent.
- Build Nook’s Cranny.
- Unlock Mabel’s visit by meeting Timmy and Tommy in the Nook’s Cranny.
- Buy more than 5,000 Bells worth of stuff from Mabel’s little stand.
- She will tell you her intention of opening up a shop on your island. Then, in 48 hours the Able Sisters tailor shop will be ready for business.
The clothes on display at The Able Sisters’ Shop change everyday, so be sure to visit it daily. You never know, you might find a really fancy wedding-style outfit (like a tuxedo jacket or a chic tuxedo dress) there someday. Plus, you can also display and wear your own custom designs in the shop. Exciting stuff.
Golden candlestick
The golden candlestick is a craftable furniture in ACNH. It will add a nice little touch to your wedding festivities in June. You can unlock the DIY recipe from a washed up bottle on the beach. You will need 2 Gold Nuggets to craft it.
Stone arch
A stone arch provides a cool-looking backdrop to your wedding photos. It can be crafted and needs 90 stones. The recipe can be obtained from Nook Stop for 2,000 Nook Miles. Twitter user @MayorMori has incorporated this stone arch in a beautiful way on his island, check it out:

Shell arch
If the stone arch is not your style and you like to be fancy, try the Shell arch. It needs the following materials:
- 3 x sea snail
- 3 x venus comb
- 3 x sand dollar
- 3 x coral
- 3 x giant clam
- 3 x cowrie
