How to Get a Living Ship in No Man’s Sky
The Living Ship is one the most unique type of spaceships you can get in No Man’s Sky. Getting it requires a lot of steps to go through, specifically you will need to do the Star Birth quest. Let’s take a look at these steps:
- Get a Void Egg. You can get one at the Space Anomaly for 3,200 Quicksilver. Doing missions from the Space Anomaly is the fastest way to get Quicksilver.
- Once you have a Void Egg, warp around different systems. Do this until you receive a transmission where it says the Egg is singing. Note down the numbers at the start of these transmissions as it will help you figure out the order of Portal Glyphs later. This is a quest called Melody of the Eggs that you need to complete.
- Each transmission message you get is a hint to a specific Portal Glyph. By the end of it, you will have a location of the portal and you will need to go there and put in the glyphs in the order from the transmissions.
- Once you use the portal and end up on the destination planet. Head out into space and fly around until you get an Anomaly. This will be a living ship and it will give you items to start building your own Living Ship in No Man’s Sky.
- The Star Birth quest is now started. This quest will lead you to different planets to gather different components for the Living Ship. This quest’s objectives and destinations are unique to every player. So follow the instructions on this quest.
- Eventually, after gathering all the required components, you will be able to make the living ship and finally use it as your own.
