To survive in Grounded, you need to utilize various tools and resources. One of the simplest tools to use in the game to chop down plants is the chopping tool. With a chopping tool like the Pebblet Axe, you can protect yourself from enemies in the early game and harvest some essential items. Here’s how you can craft a chopping tool in Grounded.
Chopping Tool: How to Craft a Pebblet Axe in Grounded
Crafting is a big part of this game and there are various recipes you can follow to create what you want. For the Pebblet Axe in particular, you need 3 Sprigs, 2 Pebblets and 1 Woven Fiber. The best thing is the Sprigs and Pebblets can be easily found – all you have to do is explore. Once you get your hands on them, you can move to the Woven Fiber but for that, you have to put in some work.

How to Get Woven Fiber in Grounded
To craft Woven Fiber, you have to get some Plant Fiber nodes and bring the first one back to the camp. There will be a Resource Analyzer kept inside a tent which looks like this:
Enter it and put the Plant Fiber in the Resource Analyzer. The machine will do its thing and decipher the Woven Fiber recipe for you. Remember that you can do this for any other material and the Analyzer will unlock new recipes to craft. Now, all that is left to do is to craft the Woven Fiber with 3 Plant Fiber. Finally, you can move to crafting a Pebblet Axe from the Crafting Menu.
This was everything to know about the Chopping Tool in Grounded. It is a bit weak but it’s a good basic tool for starters.
