Phasmophobia: How to Discover Ghost Type
The best thing to do to determine the ghost type in Phasmophobia is to access and start writing in the Journal. Towards the end of the Journal, you will have three spots where you can write the evidence that you have got during the hunt.
There are a total of 6 evidence types that you can collect. Here is a list of them.
- Spirit Box: Communicate with ghosts using the spirit box to see if they respond.
- Ghost Orb: Set up a camera and try to click them.
- Ghost Writing: See if they write anything by placing a notebook in ghosts’ room.
- Freezing Temperatures: Use a thermometer and determine if the temperature drops below 0 degrees.
- EMF Level 5: See if 5 lights glow when you walk around with an EMF reader.
- Fingerprints: Scan doors, objects, and environments to find fingerprints.
Once you have any evidence, write it down in the journal. Next, look for other evidence. This will help eliminate the ghost types that don’t match the given evidence as each ghost type have a set of unique evidence that they give.
Once you have enough evidence, you can easily discover the ghost type in Phasmophobia. For instance, if you find two pieces of evidence of fingerprints and freezing temperatures, then you may have a wraith or banshee ghost type. Next, you can check with the Spirit Box whether the ghost responds or not. If it does, then it is surely a banshee type as they show the three pieces of evidence. On the other hand, if the ghost shows 5 lights on the EMF reader, it is a wraith type.
