How to Quickly Defeat Trunks in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot
Tunks has a sword on his back and most of his attacks will be melee-based, so make sure that you keep your distance when possible. It is easy to get drawn in to battle him but this is where he is lethal.
Trunks have a short recovery time so if you have large combos in mind this isn’t going to work here. Rather even when you stun Trunk you will have a little window to strike him and then retreat again.

You will see Trunks charge up an energy ball, it takes time but if you come into contact with the ball it will explode and damage you a lot. You can, however, use the time it takes to charge and deal with some attacks of your own.
