How to Get to the Fireplace Chest in Hogwarts Legacy
If you want to go through the Fireplace Chest in Hogwarts Legacy, you will need to use the Glacius spell. It will cast an icy explosion and extinguish the fire immediately. Now, it will be safe for you to pass the fireplace and get your hands on the loot inside.
If you have not unlocked the Glacius spell yet, you will need to pop the balloons during Madam Kogawa’s first assignment to be rewarded with the spell. However, if you already have it, simply point your wand at the fireplace in the library and use the Glacius spell. An icy cold air will be created from the wand’s tip and will then put away the fire instantly.
Now, you will need to crouch to go through the furnace. You will find yourself in a hidden room which has a chest. Once you open the chest, you’ll be rewarded with the Striped House Colour Scarf. Make sure that you point the wand at the direction of the fire as a whole. The frosty magical spell will only work if it is aimed towards the fire and not the shelf or wooden furniture.
