Where to Find Lovebugs
Head to Seaside Resort and visit the Resort Plaza to catch lovebugs. What you’re looking for is a pink caterpillar and when you spot this cute critter, carefully approach it and catch it with your net.
Note that you can catch one Lovebug around the Seaside Resort once a day (at any time) so make sure to come back for it the next day. The rare critter should appear near the Hugs & Hearts habitat. Now that you’ve captured it, what next? You can exchange it to claim a fun reward.
How to Use the Love Bug
In Resort Plaza, you will have a Lovebug Habitat where you can give away a Love Bug and get Hugs & Hearts furniture in return.
The Hugs & Hearts collection has 10 furniture items that includes the Heart Arch, Heart Table, Heart Dining Chair, Heart Divider, Heart Ottoman, Rose Petals, Heartwing Tree, Loveseat, and Heart Wreath Display. This list is different from the items from 2024, so if you already played it before, it’s worth trying it out again for new furniture. Each of these items costs 1x Lovebug.
