How to Play NoPixel V

Published Date :

NoPixel V is the newest version of the famous GTA 5 roleplay experience, and this time Rockstar Games is officially supporting the project. It comes with a complete rebuild of the server, new locations, updated visuals, and more tools for creating roleplay stories. However, the September launch is not an open release. Here’s what you need to know.

When Does NoPixel V Come Out?

The closed beta begins on September 8, 2026 and players will be able to launch it through the Rockstar Games Launcher on PC. The first phase is being kept small, so selected creators and experienced roleplayers will have access initially. The creators plan to expand access through additional invitations in the future.

What’s New?

This version has been rebuilt from the ground up for the new experience. The updated server includes a revamped GTA 5 map, improved character customization, and new locations for players to explore. The world includes more properties that players can own, along with additional legal and criminal activities. The goal is to give roleplayers more ways to create their own characters, jobs, businesses, and stories within Los Santos.

Can You Play Without an Invite?

Not at launch. There is currently no public application that guarantees access to the closed beta. The invitation system is expected to expand over time, so players who are not selected in the first wave may still get an opportunity later. Rockstar has not announced a date for general access.

What Happens to NoPixel Public and 4.0?

The arrival of the new version does not immediately shut down the existing servers. NoPixel Public and NoPixel 4.0 will continue to work, so current players can keep using those versions while the new beta is being tested. This also gives the team time to improve the new experience and weed out bugs before making it available to a much larger audience.
