There is a vast land for players to explore on the Palpagos islands in Palworld and a lot to survive for. However, even with all the pals that you capture going around the vast lands, one thing that you might have quickly realized is that you are limited to the number of pals you can use at once. And while if you have a Mammorest or Grizzbolt in your party, the limitation might not pose as much of a threat, although without them it can be deemed quite the disadvantage, especially early on.

That said, there is a trick which can help you have multiple pals out at once in Palworld, however, you will be restricted to having the same pal by your side every time. It’s definitely a step up from having just one of your pals out during explorations and battles. So if you are looking to know how you can have two pals out fighting at the same time, then here is a guide you should check out further.

Can You Have Multiple Pals Out at Once in Palworld?

The simple answer would be, yes, you can technically have multiple pals out in Palworld. However, it’s not as straightforward as you might think it is. The only pals you can have out along with another member of your party are Daedream, Flopie, or Dazzi. And if you are wondering why, then it has something to do with the necklace that you can hand over once you level up a bit.

Handing them their respective necklace will let you have either one of them always by your side when you cast them out of their sphere. They will remain by your side till you call them back into their spheres. The only thing remaining is to cast out the secondary pal you want from your party. With it, you will be able to roam around with two pals out at once in Palworld.

For now, it’s the only way through which you can have more than one pal out while exploring or during battles. Since the game is still in its early access, it’s hard to say if the amount would increase with further updates. However, considering many players believe a single pal is just too little, the developers might address the issue. Having said that, you will need to make do with Flopie, Daizzi, and Daedream’s abilities.

As mentioned above, to have two pals out at once in Palworld, you will need to craft either the Daedream’s Necklace, Flopie’s Necklace, or Dazzi’s Necklace respectively. You can unlock these necklaces after reaching a certain level and using the Technology Points in the game. Here is the list of resources required to craft them at which level the necklaces unlock:

    • Daedream’s Necklace: Unlocks at level 8 and requires x5 Leather, x10 Fiber and x10 Palladium Fragments
    • Flopie’s Necklace: Unlocks at level 17 and requires x10 Leather, x20 Fiber, x5 Ingot and x15 Paldium Fragments
    • Dazzi’s Necklace: Unlocks at level 22 and requires x15 Leather, x15 Fiber, x10 Ingot and x20 Paldium Fragments

As you can see you will need to grind your way through pretty much half of the levels to craft all three necklaces. However, Daedream early on in the game can do just the trick for you. Once you craft the necklace, all you need to do to have multiple pals out at once in Palworld is cast out the pal with the necklace first to be by your side and then subsequently release one of the other pals from your party.
