How to Get Growshrooms in Once Human
Unlike other deviants, you can’t find a Growshroom in a specific location in the wild. Instead, you need to harvest mushrooms to have a chance of getting this deviant. It’s random so you might have to keep doing this multiple times to get one.
So, explore the world for normal mushrooms – the best spot is in the Sunbury middle school caves area and when you harvest one, you might just get this deviant if you’re lucky. Aside from this location, clusters grow in forest areas across the map. Simply approach one, look at it and press the F key on your keyboard to harvest.
If you’re not keen on heading out for this deviant each time, you can also grow mushrooms in your farm and you still have a random chance of obtaining a Growshroom. How to Grow a Growshroom at your Base
- To grow a Growshroom deviant, you need Mushroom seeds which can be obtained by harvesting mushrooms because when you do that, there’s a chance you also get seeds from the loot.
- Plant them in Loamy Soil within a Planter box at your base.
- Then, you need water to help them grow – choose Boiled Water and wait for the germination. And once the crop is ready, harvest it.
How to Use the Growshroom Deviant
Having a Growshroom can help with automatic planting and harvesting with faster crop growth, so that you can focus on other aspects of the gameplay while also having a steady supply of food.
It needs Green Light, High temperature and Electricity (5W) to recover Deviant Power and Mood faster. The higher the Deviant Energy rating, the faster the growth. When you get it to work, press G to control it or H to interact.
