While players head to the Moonrise Towers in Act 2 of Baldur’s Gate 3, they will get to meet an interesting NPC Araj Oblodra. She is a Drow and an alchemist who is interested in experimenting with True Soul blood. At one point after meeting her, you will then face a choice of whether you should give Araj Oblodra your blood in BG3 or not.
Since Baldur’s Gate 3 is a game of choices and consequences, players might want to know what they are signing up for. Giving Araj your blood is actually positive for players and there are not many consequences for players to worry about.
Should you Give Araj Oblodra your Blood in BG3?
Now to answer the question, should you give Araj Oblodra your blood in BG3, definitely you should. Once you give her your blood, she will make a useful potion out of it and fortunately, your companions can offer her their blood as well to get different potions.
Araj Oblodra does not really bring any negative consequences for players. If players trust her and choose the line “And what exactly are you planning to do with your share?” and pass a History check, they will find out that Araj is interested in the blood of the Illithids. She will even offer 200 gold to the players for staying quiet. Even their companions can get additional gold if they pass a history check.
Additionally, giving Araj your blood will allow you to interact with her in Act 3 and will be quite useful once more. Another impending choice that players will have to make with her is whether they should let Astarion bite Araj Oblodra.
