Araj Oblodra tells Astarion that she has always dreamt of being bitten by a vampire since she was a little girl and directly asks him to give her his blood. However, Astarion quickly rejects this offer. She then shifts her attention and asks you if you would like to chime in and try to convince Astarion.

You will be given several options to choose from, and the decision will be entirely up to you. However, we would like to mention that after he bites her, she promises to give you the Potion of Everlasting Vigour, which will permanently increase Strength by 2. Consequently, if you decide to convince him and make him bite Araj, you will have a positive outcome.

However, since Astarion is so opposed to this and claims that there is something wrong with Araj Oblodra’s blood, you will practically have to force him to do this and he will reluctantly agree and bite her. Although biting her will not harm him in any way, Astarion will be upset about this which will affect your relationship and romance options with him.

However, if you have forced him to accept the proposal, there will be another way to gain his approval. Later at Camp, you will have to approach Astarion and sympathize with him to preserve your relationship, especially if you want to romance him.
