God of War Ragnarok features a plethora of crafting resources and materials throughout the Nine Realms. You can use these resources to increase your gear level which can help you level up in GoW Ragnarok. Tempered Remnants are one of the crafting resources that can be used to upgrade your Armor. How to Get the Tempered Remnants in God of War Ragnarok
You can get the Tempered Remnants from the Red chests once you have defeated the mini-bosses and enemies while progressing through the Last Remnants of the Asgard Favor. But you can begin this Favor only after you have completed GoW Ragnarok. You can start with this Favour while progressing through the endgame, Beyond Ragnarok.
In total, 10 red chests can be opened once you have cleared out the Einherjar mini-bosses and enemies. These are located in different Einherjar Camps scattered throughout the Nine Realms. These locations appear on the map as soon as you begin with the Favour. But note that not every Red chest would reward you with the Tempered Remnants.
So, here are all the locations where you can find Tempered Remnants in GoW Ragnarok:
- Alberich Hollow at Svartalfheim
- Aurvangar Wetlands at Svartalfheim
- Burning Cliffs at Muspelheim
- Eastern Barri Wood at Vanaheim
- Freyr’s Camp at Vanaheim
- Jarnsminda Pitmines at Svartalfheim
- Lake of Nine at Midgard
- The Barrens at Alheim
- The Strond at Alheim
- Well of Urd at Midgard
Alternatively, you can get the Tempered Remnants as a loot drop for defeating the Berserker Souls like Hardrefill, the Callous.
How to Use Tempered Remnants
As mentioned earlier, Tempered Remnants can be used to upgrade your Armor pieces. These crafting components or resources can upgrade the rare Armor pieces to a maximum level of 9.
