How To Get The Berserker Armor In God Of War Ragnarok

Updated Date :

As you progress step by step in God of War Ragnarok, you’ll need one of the best armor sets to take down stronger enemies. Fortunately, the Berserker Armor is the answer to all your worries. However, getting your hands on it is not that easy as it sounds. With this guide, we’ll show you how to get the Berserker Armor in God of War Ragnarok.

How to Unlock the Berserker Armor in God of War Ragnarok

The Berserker Armor can be unlocked by defeating 3 different Berserker bosses in God of War Ragnarok. Make sure you upgrade your equipped armor and weaponry before taking up this fight. It is also important for you to note that the Berserker Armor is unavailable until you reach Chapter 9: Word of Fate in the game.

Here are the three pieces of Berserker Armor and how to unlock them:

Berserker Waist Guard in GOW RagnarokBerserker Waist Guard

You can unlock this armor piece by defeating the Berserker boss called ‘Fraekni the Zealous’. Simply head to the Lake of Nine in Midgard and you’ll find her gravestone just north of Tyr’s Temple. She is relatively easier to beat compared to the other Berserker bosses that will be introduced below. But you shouldn’t take her for granted! Once you beat her, you’ll be rewarded with the Berserker Waist Guard.

Berserker Gauntlets in GOW RagnarokBerserker Gauntlets

To unlock this armor piece, you will have to travel to the Mist Fields area of Niflheim in God of War Ragnarok. Here, you’ll come face to face with ‘Skjothendi the Unerring’ – the strongest Berserker boss. If the fight is proving tough for you, here are a few tips. Once you defeat him, you’ll unlock the Berserker Gauntlets.

Berserker Cuirass in GOW RagnarokBerserker Cuirass

The last on this list, this armor piece can be found in the Barrens region of Alfheim. To get it however, you’ll need to defeat ‘Svipdagr the Cold & Sisters of Illska’. This fight can turn out to be difficult as you’re fighting three bosses all at once. But adopting the right strategy will help. For example, focus on the ‘Sisters of Illska’ first as they can trouble you with their ranged attacks. As they share the same health bar, they can be brought down easily. You can then take down Svipdagr the Cold without a hitch.

This is all it takes to get the Berserker Armor in God of War Ragnarok. If you found this resourceful, do check out our God of War Ragnarok wiki page here.
