In Tears of the Kingdom, the Sword of the Hero is one of the returning weapons you can unlock. Obtaining the sword is pretty easy, all you have to do is open the treasure chest and the Sword will be yours. However, the tricky part is to find the chest. As it’s hidden in the Depths, tracking it down can be much of a hassle. But if you manage to get it, then it will provide you with 17 base attack and a lot of nostalgia. How to Get Sword of the Hero in TotK (Location)

In Tears of the Kingdom (TotK), you can find the Sword of the Hero in Dalite Grove located near the Muzasu Lightroot in Depths. Near the mentioned grove you’ll see a hollowed tree stump and in the middle of it there lies the treasure chest you’re looking for.   1. First, head into the Great Plateau West Chasm. (Chasm coordinates -1442 -1997 0230)
  2. Next, move slightly to the northwest direction and activate the Muzasu Lightroot in Depths. (Lightroot coordinates -2137, -0874, -0542)
  3. After activating the lightroom the area will be quite visible for you.
  4. And then, make your way towards the south direction from lightroot and you’ll come across a circular hollowed tree stump.
  5. In this circular structure, you’ll find the treasure chest that holds a Sword of the Hero.

Alternatively, players can also make their way to the chest in Dalite Grove by heading into the Birida Lookout Chasm located in Gerudo Highlands.
