Soul of Night is one of the important resources that you can get in Terraria. Some of the weapons and items you can craft using it includes Onyx Blaster, Magical Harp, Mechanical Skull, Key of Night, and more. But you can’t simply walk up to a biome, kill some enemies and collect it. You need to meet certain conditions to be able to farm it. So in this guide let us check how to farm Soul of Night in Terraria & how to use it.

How to Get Soul of Night in Terraria

You get Soul of Night as drops from enemies in the Underground Corruption biome in this game when playing on Hardmode. You cannot get this item on difficulties easier than this. Here is what you need to do to get it:

  1. Play the game in Hard or Expert mode. Enemies have a 20% chance to drop it in Hard mode and a 36% chance to drop it in Expert mode.
  2. Go to the Underground Corruption or Underground Crimson biomes.
  3. Start killing any enemies you come across and they have a chance to drop this resource.

A thing to remember is any enemy within the biome has a chance to drop this resource even if they might not be a biome-exclusive enemy. Slaying enemies is the quickest way to farm it.
