Luckily, there are a few different ways you can get this fishing tackle. However, before you try to acquire the Sonar Bobber, make sure you keep working on increasing your Fishing Skill so that you can get it to level 6. Here are all the different methods of obtaining this Bobber –

Visit Willy’s Fish Shop

One of the easiest and fastest ways of getting this fishing tackle is by visiting Willy’s Fish Shop which is located towards the south of Pelican Town. Here, you can purchase the Sonar Bobber by spending 500 Gold. However, as mentioned earlier, you will be able to make this purchase only once you have reached Fishing level 6.

Craft Sonar Bobber

Once you have reached Fishing level 6, you will unlock the Sonar Bobber recipe. To create it you will need 1x Iron Bar and 2x Refined Quartz.

You can get an Iron Bar by smelting 5x Iron Ore in a furnace with 1x Coal for fuel. Similarly, Refined Quartz is made by smelting 1x Quartz in a furnace with 1x Coal for fuel. Once you have both of these ingredients, you can use them to craft the Sonar Bobber.

Additionally, after you have reached Fishing level 6, this tackle can also be randomly found in Fishing Treasure Chests and the Traveling Cart for 750 – 1,250 Gold.

How to Equip Sonar Bobber in Stardew Valley

Once you have obtained this Bobber, you will be able to equip it only on an Iridium Rod or Advanced Iridium Rod. Similarly, you will be able to equip only one Sonar Bobber on the Iron Rod, and two on the Advanced Iridium Rod.

Once you have selected the Rod you want to use, to attach it you will have to left-click on the Sonar Bobber and then right-click on the Rod.
