This is the best way to farm this upgrade material. Although it isn’t exactly early in the game, this is still the best way to get Rainbow Geodes.
However, if you want an alternative way, you should first complete the Sujimon, Generation II Substory in Chapter 4. This will allow you to take part in Sujiman Raids and once you raise your Sujiman Trainer Rank, you will be able to farm some Rainbow Geodes from there. This is one of the best ways that you can get Geodes early on in the game.
