How To Get Overkill Perk In COD MW3

Want to equip two primary weapons in Modern Warfare 3 at once? Check out our guide on how to get Overkill in MW3.

COD Modern Warfare 3 features a plethora of perks, weapons, and gear for players to use. Overkill is one of the most iconic perks that allows you to equip two primary weapons. Rather than bringing one primary and one secondary weapon, enabling this perk offers 2 Primary weapons at the same time. The Overkill perk is suited for versatile players who prefer unpredictability. But with the new content and changes in Modern Warfare 3, activating this perk isn’t related to only leveling up.

Instead, you must equip Vests, Gloves, Boots, and Gear for perks alongside different combat bonuses. Similarly, Overkill is a hidden perk in Call of Duty MW3 which can be activated by equipping a piece of equipment. So, check out our guide to find out how to get the Overkill perk to equip 2 Primary Weapons.

You can get the Overkill perk in MW3 by unlocking and equipping the Gunner Vest. To do so, you must reach Player Level 20 to unlock the Gunner vest. Once unlocked, equip this Vest to activate the Overkill perk. This will allow you to select two primary weapons in your loadout screen. Then, head over to the Secondary Weapon section to select your second primary weapon.

In addition to getting an Overkill perk in Modern Warfare 3, equipping Gunner Vest also offers combat bonuses. They are as follows:

  • Deploy with Max Ammo
  • Improved Reload Speed
  • Gain effects of Mission ComLink by equipping with Mag Holster.

You can reach level 20 quickly by completing various missions and earning XP. We recommend completing the daily missions and challenges to earn maximum experience points.

However, note that once the Open Beta is finished, your progress won’t be carried to the main game. So, be prepared to reach Player Lvl 20 once again with the full release.
