Pokemon GO is finally introducing the Legendary Poke ball with the 100% catch rate, the Master Ball and everyone has a chance to get it. Since this a very valuable you can’t expect to obtain it by spinning mere Poke Stops. Rather you need to do a special research for it. How to Unlock Master Ball in Pokemon GO
You will get the Master Ball by completing the Let’s GO Seasonal Special Research tasks. This special Poke Ball along with other rewards will be available to be claimed till 1st June 2023 at 10:00 AM (local time). So make sure to not only finish these tasks but to timely redeem your rewards.
The final story will start on 22nd May 2023 at 10:00 AM (local time). Professor Willow will give you a series of tasks, complete them in order to get the Master Ball. The list of tasks isn’t disclosed yet, but you will know them soon enough when it starts on the 22nd.
Once it begins you can track your progress by tapping on the Binoculars button on the main screen of the game.
Which Pokemon Can You Use Master Ball On?
You can use Master Ball on any Pokemon in the game. That’s right, any Pokemon which is giving you a hard time can be easily caught with the help of the Master Ball. But since this is an extremely rare Poke Ball, even in the main titles. It is highly recommended you save it to catch Legendary Pokemon. These can also be used on Shiny encounters which can arguably be rarer than the Legendaries you may find.
How Many Master Balls Will you Get?
During this event, you most likely will get only 1 Master Ball. But luckily, the developers have said “Receiving a rare and powerful Master Ball is a special occasion”. So it is safe to assume that there will be more chances to get them in the future. But that being said it says “special occasion” so even if you may get them later on, they will not be much. Or they might just give it to the players who haven’t got it before. So if you play this game frequently or even casually you shouldn’t miss out on it.
