In this guide, we will break down the methods to get all the above Dragon Parts in Zelda: TOTK along with some tips. Here’s how you can get the Dragon Scales:
Dragon Scales
You can get the Dragon Scales by hitting the back of a Dragon’s body.
- For that, you must jump on any Dragon’s back and hit the glowing scale or the fin.
- You can use the Paraglider to glide from a higher altitude to land on the Dragon.
- Once you land on the back, hit its fins to get the scales.
- Alternatively, you can also use a bow and arrow to obtain Dragon scales.
- To do so, position yourself at a higher hill or ridge from where the creature will pass by.
- Then, shoot the glowing scales with an arrow to get their scales.
- You can fuse the arrow with the Keese or Aerocunda eyeball for better precision.
- We recommend using the homing arrows to get specific parts of the dragon.
- As the parts drop down, you must dive to get those Dragon Scales or any parts.
Fangs or Shards
Similar to the Dragon Scales, hit the passive creatures on their faces to get the Fangs. These shards or fangs are the glowing spikes above their faces. You can shoot at the correct spot to obtain Dragon Shards or Fangs in Tears of the Kingdom.
- You can either shoot them with an arrow or perfectly land on them.
- As shooting with a bow and arrow have some chances of missing, we suggest making a perfect jump on them.
- Furthermore, landing on them can increase your chances to get more Dragon parts in one run.
Horns
You can obtain Dragon horns by hitting the horns of the Dragons.
- Once you have landed on the back of a dragon, it will fly in an upwards direction.
- This will be the best time to go ahead in front of the passive creature.
- Grab their horns and hit or shoot arrows at the right spot.
- Finally, collect the dropped Dragon horns by diving or gliding.
Talons or Claws
Likewise, for the Horns, you must hit the correct spot to get the Dragon Claws in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
- When using a Paraglider from a higher altitude, aim at the claws beforehand.
- Then, shoot at the claws of the Dragons and land on their back.
- If you have enough time, you can also farm Shards or Spikes from the Dragon’s back.
- Lastly, dive or glide and collect the dropped Dragon Talons.
