One of the basic crafting materials that you might want to get your hands on in Sons of the Forest is cloth. And since you are stranded in an unknown island, it will be quite hard to come by. So here are some locations where you can find cloth in Sons of the Forest, and how you can use them.

How to Get Cloth in Sons of the Forest

You can find cloth by looting boxes or in some caves in this game. This is a rare item and doesn’t spawn as frequently. And since it doesn’t have a fixed spawn there is no farming method for it. So these two ways seem to be the only working methods as of now.

  1. Bring out your GPS and look for caves that you haven’t explored already.
  2. While getting to them look for any boxes on the ground that you can open and loot.
  3. Once, inside the cave explore the areas. Make sure you check the ground thoroughly, so as to not miss out on any items.
  4. After you find the cloth simply press E to pick it up. It will be added to your inventory.

Another great place to get cloth is at the start of the game. When you get up after crashing, there will be a lot of loot at the crash site. There is a chance that you might find some cloth here.

How to Use Cloth in Sons of the Forest

Cloth is used as a crafting material in the game. As of now, there are limited known uses for the cloth. These include crafting a Molotov cocktail or a Torch. You need 1 cloth and 1 Vodka bottle to craft a Molotov Cocktail. And to craft a torch, you will need 1 cloth and 1 stick.
