Crafting some of the most important Arcana Cards and Incantations requires Pearls in Hades 2. However, just like any other item, you will have to go through several hoops before obtaining this resource. If it gets Melinoe one step closer to beating Chronos, I think there is no harm in grinding for Pearls. With that said, find out how you can get and use this material for yourself.
How to Get Pearls in Hades 2
To get Pearls in Hades 2, you need to beat the Scylla and the Sirens boss fight. This fight takes place at the end of the Oceanus biome, which is the second area in the game. To reach the Oceanus biome, you first have to go through the Erebus (first area) and beat the Headmistress Hecate boss fight. After doing so, you will be teleported to Oceanus.
One thing that you must know about Oceanus is that it is filled with environmental traps. From hot and damaging steam to boilers, there are multiple traps you need to avoid coming across. Once you are in Oceanus, simply follow the storyline and you will eventually, encounter Scylla and Sirens there.
Unfortunately, there is no other way to obtain Pearls in Hades 2. So each time you want a Pearl, you will have to start over, beat Scylla and Sirens, and then collect it.
How to Use Pearls in Hades 2
Pearls can be used to craft several Weapon Aspects like Aspect of Momus for Witch’s Staff and Aspect of Charon for Moonstone Axe. Aside from this, Pearls are also used for making the Abyssal Insight Incantation at the Concoct. While these are some secondary uses, its primary use remains to unlock the Messenger Arcana Card.
That’s all there is to know about the Pearls in Hades 2. If are looking to farm other resources like Nightshade and Thalamus, then make sure to check out our guides on them.
