Not to worry, check out our guide on how to get the Stardew Valley Ancient Seeds.
How to Get Stardew Valley Ancient Seed
You can get the Stardew Valley Ancient Seed by donating the Ancient Seed Artifact to Gunther. In return, he will reward you with an Ancient Seed with the crafting recipe to sow them. Now, you can plant the Ancient Seeds at your farm to grow the Ancient Fruits.
There are several other ways to get the Ancient Seeds too. If you have found it for the first time, you must donate it to Gunther’s Museum. For the players that couldn’t find the Artifact, here are all the ways to get them:
- Dig up the Artifact Spots to find them.

If you want to save the trouble and get the Ancient Seeds directly, you can purchase them from the Traveling Cart Merchant. But the chances of him appearing is 1.26%. Furthermore, you can also use the Seed Maker to get an Ancient Seed Packet. However, there is only a 0.5% chance of getting them from the Seed Maker. As there is a 1.99% chance of getting Mixed seeds, you can get 2-3 Ancient Seeds back. Check out our guide on how to craft the Seed Maker for more insight.
So, we suggest the best way to get the Ancient Seeds would be donating the Artififact to Gunther’s Museum. Once you plant the seed, it takes an entire season to grow the Ancient Fruit. This will take about 28 days until the Fruit is ripe. After that, it will produce the Ancient Fruits every 7 days.
